Хотя три непреходящих украшения, такие как благотворительность для рук, слушание о славе Бога для ушей и беседы об истине для языка, доступны всем, люди занимаются погоней за преходящими и бесполезными мирскими вещами. Вы должны стремиться к этому, получая с этим и всё остальное. Первый шаг - это понять, что связывает людей друг с другом. Это ни что иное как любовь. Именно на основе любви всё общество тесно взаимосвязано. Что такое страна? Ведь это не территория, а общество создает страну или нацию. Если нация процветает и идёт по пути здорового прогресса, потребности отдельного человека также удовлетворяются. Человек зависит от общества, он рождается, воспитывается и поддерживается обществом. Поэтому долг каждого человека - это самоотверженное служение ради процветания всего общества. (Божественная речь, 11 апреля 1994)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Though three permanent ornaments are available for all in the form of charity for the hand, hearing God's glory for the ears and speaking the truth for the tongue, people are engaging themselves in the pursuit of all transient and useless worldly things. You should strive to achieve that by getting which everything else is achieved. The first step is to understand the link that connects any two individuals. It is nothing but love. It is on the basis of love that the entire society is closely knit. What is a country? It is not the land but the society that makes a country or a nation. When the nation is prosperous and progresses with healthy growth, the needs of the individuals are also fulfilled. The individual is dependent on society; one is born, brought up and sustained by society. Therefore, it is the duty of every individual to render selfless service for promoting the common welfare of society. (Divine Discourse, Apr 11, 1994)
