Сегодня из-за влияния Кали Юги распространились два вида болезней. Первая - это ненасытная жажда богатства. В каждом городе идёт бешенная гонка за деньгами. Все захвачены этим безумием. Без сомнения, деньги нужны, но только в таком количестве, чтобы обеспечить себя всем необходимым. Из-за ненасытных желаний люди теряют всякое чувство меры. Они превращаются в демонов в погоне за богатством. Возникает вопрос, правильно ли они, по крайней мере, используют свое огромное богатство. Нет, в конечном счете, деньги могут попасть в руки грабителей или ещё кого-нибудь. То, что вы получаете от общества, отдавайте обратно обществу. Это главная ценность, которой должен дорожить каждый. Вторая болезнь — это жажда власти. Пораженный этими двумя болезнями, человек превращает весь мир в сумасшедший дом. Как таковое стремление к богатству и власти не является неправильным. Но богатство и власть надо использовать в правильных целях. Какое бы высокое положение вы ни занимали, следите за тем, чтобы оно использовалось достойно. (Божественная речь, 7 апреля, 1997)

Sai Inspires Mar 30, 2022 What are the two afflictions we must be wary of? Bhagwan cautions us today so that we may be on guard. Today, thanks to the influence of the Kali Age, two kinds of diseases have grown. One is the insatiable thirst for wealth. In every city, there is a mad rush for making money. Everyone is caught up in this craze. No doubt money is necessary, but only up to a limit to meet one's needs. Owing to excessive desire people lose all sense of proportion. Men turn into demons in the pursuit of wealth. It may be asked whether at least they make good use of their immense wealth. No, ultimately, the money may fall in the hands of robbers or others. What you get from society, give it back to society. That is the primary value to be cherished by everyone. The second malady is the thirst for power. Afflicted with these two maladies, man is converting the whole world into a madhouse. The desire for wealth and power is not wrong as such. But wealth and power should be used for the right ends.
