Чему мы должны научиться у лотоса и чему стремиться подражать? Бхагаван с любовью и сладостью напоминает нам об этом сегодня.

Все религии единодушны в том, что сердце является местом пребывания Бога. Индуистские писания утверждают, что сердце - это храм Бога. Священные Упанишады называют сердце пещерой, в которой пребывает Бог. В Библии говорится, что человек с чистым сердцем может узреть Бога. Мусульмане считают, что сердце находится между двумя пальцами Бога. Гуру сикхов Нанак заявил, что только человек с чистым сердцем может считаться истинным сикхом. Таким образом, различные конфессии подтвердили, что сердце - это обитель Бога. Многие великие души ощущали сердце как лотос. Уходя корнями в тину, вырастая в мутной воде, лотос сияет чистотой. Когда лотос раскрывает свои лепестки и смотрит вверх, он словно говорит: "О Господь, пожалуйста, приди и поселись во мне". Рожденный в грязи, он не утопает в ней. Окруженный грязной водой, он не загрязняется ею. Это тот возвышенный урок, который лотос преподносит человеку: "Хотя вы живете в испорченном мире и родились в грязи неправедного общества, вы должны обратить свой ум к Богу и сделать свое сердце Божьим храмом". - Божественная беседа, 14 июля 1984 года.

Према (чистая любовь) не связана с умом, она проистекает из сердца. Вот почему Божественность может быть реализована только через сердце.

What should we learn from the lotus and strive to emulate? Bhagawan lovingly and sweetly reminds us today.

All religions are unanimous in regarding the heart as the seat of the Divine. The Hindu scriptures have declared that the heart is the temple of God. The sacred Upanishads have referred to the heart as a cave in which the Divine dwells. It is stated in the Bible that the man with a pure heart can see God. The Muslims regard the heart as located between the two fingers of God. The Guru of the Sikhs, Nanak declared that only a man with a pure heart can be regarded as a true Sikh. In this way, the various faiths have affirmed that the heart is the abode of God. Many great souls have experienced the heart as a lotus. Although rooted in mire, growing up in muddy water, the lotus shines in purity. When the lotus opens its petals and looks up, it seems to say: "O Lord, please come and dwell in me." Though born in mud it does not wallow in it. Surrounded by polluted water it is not polluted by it. This is the great lesson the lotus teaches man: "Though you are living in a corrupt world and are born in the sludge of an unrighteous society, you must turn your mind towards God and make your heart a shrine for God." — Divine Discourse, Jul 14, 1984.

Prema (pure love) is not related to the mind, it springs from the heart. That is why Divinity can be realised only through the heart.
