Как мы можем преодолеть эго, или Ахам, и что следует использовать, чтобы избавиться от него? Сегодня Бхагаван с любовью объясняет это на простом примере.
Если на теле появляется нарыв, мы смазываем его мазью и накладываем повязку, пока он полностью не заживёт. Если же не нанести мазь и не перевязать такой нарыв, он может воспалиться, что впоследствии принесёт немалый вред. Время от времени его нужно промывать чистой водой, снова наносить мазь и накладывать свежую повязку. Подобным образом в нашей жизни возникает своего рода «нарыв» — эго, проявляющееся как постоянное «я», «я», «я» (Ахам). Если вы действительно хотите исцелить этот «нарыв эго», вам следует ежедневно промывать его водами любви, наносить на него мазь веры (Вишваса) и перевязывать его повязкой смирения. Повязка смирения, мазь веры и воды любви способны излечить этот недуг, возникший из-за «нарыва эго». Там, где есть любовь, не может быть Ахам (или эго). Там, где есть вера, не может быть Ахам. Там, где есть смирение, не может быть Ахам. Поэтому, используя любовь, веру и смирение, мы должны избавиться от этого Ахам.

Когда человек осознаёт, что то же самое Божественное сознание, которое побуждает к действию его самого, точно так же движет и всеми остальными, тогда любовь вытесняет эго и берёт под свой контроль его поступки, слова и мысли.

How can we overcome the ego, or Aham, and what should we use to get rid of it? Bhagawan lovingly explains to us today with a simple example.If there is a boil on the body, we put some ointment on it and cover it with a bandage until the whole thing heals. If you do not apply the ointment and tie the bandage around this boil, it is likely to become septic and cause great harm later on. Now and then we will have to clean it with pure water, apply the ointment again, and put on a new bandage. In the same way, in our life, there is this particular boil which has come up in our body in the form of ‘I,’ ‘I’ ‘I’ (Aham). If you want to really cure this boil of “I,” you will have to wash it every day with the waters of love, apply the ointment of faith (Vishvasa) on it, and tie the bandage of humility around it. The bandage of humility, the ointment of faith, and the waters of love will be able to cure this disease that has erupted with this boil of ‘I’. Where there is love, there Aham (or ego) cannot be. Where there is faith, there Aham cannot be. Where there is humility, there Aham cannot be. So, using love, faith and humility, we must get rid of this Aham. — Divine Discourse Feb 17, 1985
When man is aware that the same Divine consciousness that motivates him is equally motivating all others, then love ousts the ego and takes charge of his actions, words and thoughts.
